Join us for a discussion with Wendy Clark, CEO of DDB North America and Advertising Age’s 2017 Executive of the Year. Disrupting the agency model with client wins like McDonald’s, Miller Lite, and Merck, Wendy has been called “one of the most important women in advertising.” At DDB, she is creating a culture where associates love to come to work, feel that they can bring their “whole selves” to their jobs, and do the best work of their careers. With that in mind, she has led the roll out of multiple Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, which have captured industry attention and are setting the bar for industry action. In 2016, Wendy launched Unconscious Bias training for all 2,000 associates in North America. Under Wendy’s leadership, DDB is also the first, and only, advertising agency to partner with EDGE, a third-party gender equality certification company, in driving certifiable policies and practices to assure gender equality. Wendy will share insights about her transition from client-side at Coca-Cola to agency CEO, talk about her focus on diversity in advertising, and how she manages and integrates work and family.
