The Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association (AiMA) announced today that email marketing and interactive marketing provider ExactTarget will power its integrated email marketing efforts to the organization’s more than 3,000 individual and corporate members, sponsors and followers.
Atlanta’s premier professional association of interactive brand marketers, publishers and agencies will use ExactTarget’s Advanced Edition to build and send targeted emails and event registrations to the association’s members and participants throughout the metro Atlanta area.
“Thousands of Atlanta marketers rely on AiMA to provide best practices in digital communications with real-time updates on events, activities and emerging trends, and targeted email marketing is a cornerstone of our ‘seamless experience’ initiative,” said Jason van Namen, AiMA president. “ExactTarget’s powerful platform and integration with our Website and event registration system will allow us to better serve our members and partners through personalized email campaigns, custom newsletters and registration confirmations.”
AiMA will rely on ExactTarget’s list segmentation and integration with Web analytics providers to refine the email marketing messages to the organization’s five special interest groups based on the preferences of members and memberships. The organization will also leverage the power of dynamic content to improve message targeting and increase the effectiveness of its email campaigns.
“Targeted, relevant email content is critical to the success of email marketing and interactive marketing programs,” said Tim Kopp, ExactTarget’s chief marketing officer. “ExactTarget’s sophisticated platform provides AiMA with a Web-based solution to automate the delivery of email content that resonates with its members.”
AiMA’s selection of ExactTarget follows the launch of ExactTarget’s Twitter X-Factors report. Twitter X-Factors is the fourth research brief in ExactTarget’s six-part Subscribers, Fans & Followers series, set for release through September. The series provides marketers exclusive insights into how U.S. consumers interact with brands online based on focus groups, interviews and surveys conducted in March and April 2010.
