nurun is looking for an experienced online Search Engine Marketing professional to join a fun, energetic team, belonging to an agency at the forefront of new media.
The Manager, SEM manages the preparation and implementation of clients’ search engine marketing strategy and translates the clients’ online objectives into targeted search marketing plans. The Manager, SEM also presents to clients and works with both the Director of Search marketing and SEM coordinators to ensure client objectives are exceeded
Skills / Qualifications
• A minimum of 3 years in the interactive marketing discipline
• A minimum of 2 years working within the PPC/SEM marketplace
• Proven track record of developing tactics which exceed client objectives
• Ability to think strategically and deliver ideas for expanding the role of PPC/SEM in clients’ media plans
• Strong interpersonal communication and ability to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to "multitask" and meet concurrent, rigorous deadlines under fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with third party ad servers and rich media technologies (e.g. DART, DART Search, Ad Gooroo, Word Tracker, etc.)
• Experience working with all major search engines, and tier-two engines
• Experience working with meta-engines (shopping.com; Nextag; Kayak)
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
• Bachelors Degree.
Responsibilities Include
• Manage the daily oversight of all activities related to client PPC campaigns, including strategic development, campaign initiation and optimization and invoice reconciliation
• Oversee SEM coordinator(s) assigned to specified projects
• Proactively lead clients in the most efficient and strategic use of SEM
• Ensure clients’ objectives are met through strategic SEM plan development.
• Provide strategic insight and analysis to campaign reporting.
• Prepare client presentations, both strategic plans and campaign performance reports
• Develop and provide POVs for clients.
• Ensure campaigns run smoothly and all paperwork is current.
• Oversee campaign performance and provide optimization guidance to the SEM Analysts
• Meet with sales reps, stay abreast of industry trends, and inform clients of new opportunities.
• Maintain monthly media billing and reconciliations as well as oversee discrepancy resolution.
• Facilitate communication among search, media, account, campaign management, and creative departments.
