Position Overview:
The Interactive Marketing Manager handles the content, optimization and functionality of several Brands. Additionally, the Interactive Marketing Manager posts sponsored sports related events for the site and photo gallery.
Provides the vision, strategy and direction for the interactive channel of marketing. Create, expand and evolve new and exciting marketing methods in the online arena.
Additionally, manage Sweepstakes programs, coordinating with Sweepstakes administrations company and winners. Handles logistics of awards and legal approvals.
Key Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the updates as needed all content on the above websites.
- Work with the website developers and the Director of Advertising to maintain, enhance and quality control all customer facing websites.
- Deliver timely racing reports to the field via company e-mail as well as posting on the primary company website.
- Researches new applications, services and projects that might provide Marketing with more ability to push foot traffic to the stores, web traffic or create better brand awareness.
- Manages vendor resources to complete current projects and develop new projects based on company needs. This includes finding resources, both inside and outside of the company, to create new websites and other properties.
- Upload each month the various versions of ad flyers that are posted on the multiple company sites.
- Maintain sweepstakes calendar, organize input, develop creative and obtain management and legal approvals. Open job with Sweepstakes Company and follow program to completion. Notify awards winner(s) and obtain any tax related documents. Execute sweepstakes on-line and or in print.
- Develops analytics and project data and use them to make business decisions around existing programs.
- Guides the strategy and execution of various e-mail programs on a company scale as well as a support for local store e-mailings.
- In charge of SEM, including pay-per-click advertising and SEO efforts for all company websites.
- Create and maintain all local marketing efforts for company and franchise stores with localized search engines such as Google place pages and information on local business directories.
- Interfaces with Social marketing agencies to develop that channel for company and franchise stores.
Job Qualifications
Education and experience requirements:
- 2 year comparable new media experience
- Bachelors degree in Marketing & Advertising
- 1 year Photoshop experience
- 1 year HTML experience
- Good knowledge of SEO concepts and enhancement techniques
