Social Media
Wednesday, June 27 2012, 6:30pm - 9:00pm
![]() At the end of the day all marketing strategies must lead your customers one step closer to making that critical purchase decision to buy or repurchase your product or service over your competitors. We’ve seen how social media can help take your customers down that road. However, after the sale is made your social media strategy should continue to work for you to make a “better” customer e.g. brand loyal, increased sales, referrals and of course the digital gold ring .. a social media advocate who shares brand experiences with their networks. We're taking you into the world of business-to-business with CISCO's globalperspective on how it manages social content; consumer-to-business with Carter’s insights into engaging customers including mom bloggers on platforms like Pinterest. Taking our cue from this year’s U.S. presidential election we’ll also look at how an Atlanta politician successfully leverages Twitter, Facebook and other social networks. Vitrue will share metrics and analytics. Our panel will present mini case studies from goal to results. You’ll leave this event with ideas to take your social media initiatives to the next level of customer engagement. Panel Moderator: Kwanza Hall, Councilmember Atlanta District 2 Panelists: Tim Husband, CISCO's Global Social Media Team Allison Gonzalez , Carters Social Media Marketing Erika Brookes, Vitrue, Vice President Marketing
