Rick Kanemasu, Strategy Consultant, North Highland Rick Kanemasu is a strategy consultant with North Highland, specializing in mobile technologies and vending machine technologies. Since 2010, Rick has been advising a major consumer products goods company in developing and deploying mobile payment, loyalty, donation, social, and content management solutions. Prior to joining North Highland, Rick spent 18 years with large consultancies, including Ernst & Young, Accenture, and KPMG. He also has served as general manager and assisted in founding other service and communications companies. Rick earned an MBA degree from Duke University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University.
Dan Israel, Digital Merchandising & Mobile Strategy, SapientNitro Dan is a mobile strategy lead at SapientNitro, where he assists clients in the development of innovative and unique customer experiences. His capabilities range from defining what capabilities and which platforms to target for apps and mobile web, to creating a global view for mobile marketing efforts, to what role a company should play in the nascent mobile wallet space.
Prior to SapientNitro, Dan led consumer mobile strategy at The Home Depot. He launched apps on iPhone, Android, and WindowsPhone7, and overhauled the mobile website. Dan also has several years of broadband and mobile application experience from BellSouth/Cingular/at&t Mobility, and as one of the founders of a startup called Incanta.
Dan has a BA from Emory University, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from the University of Michigan. He has lived abroad three times in his life: Tehran, Iran; London, England; and Kagoshima, Japan.
Bill Keen, Director--Mobile Solutions, InterContinental Hotels Group Bill Keen is Director of Mobile Solutions for InterContinental Hotels Group (LON: IHG; NYSE: IHG [ADRs]), the world's largest and most global hotel company.
In his role, Mr. Keen has responsibility for mobile channel product strategy and marketing programs which generated over $140M in gross revenues during 2011; up from $2M in 2009. Before focusing solely on mobile solutions, Mr. Keen concurrently held responsibility for all branded web products that contributed more than $3 billion annually to IHG.
Prior to joining IHG in 2007, Bill spent more than 15 years in the online and ecommerce space; first as Director of Internet Services for BellSouth where he managed product management and marketing and later with CheckFree Corporation where he worked as Director of Product Marketing focusing on the development of ecommerce payment strategies.
Mr. Keen holds a Master in Business Administration from Emory University’s Gouizeta Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee.
Bruce Skala, Vice-President, Marketing, Tappan Street Restaurant Group, Inc. Bruce Skala is responsible for leading all strategic brand marketing efforts including in store marketing, menu development, advertising, media and sponsorships for the growing Atlanta based chain, Taco Mac, and two additional concepts. A seasoned veteran, Skala brings more than 22 years of food service and brand marketing experience to the Tappan Street Restaurant Group.
Bruce started his career at The Coca-Cola Company, spending thirteen years working in sales and brand marketing positions. After thirteen years with Coca-Cola, Bruce joined Heineken USA as a Marketing Director, and helped with the new product launch of Heineken Light.
While at Heineken USA, Bruce worked with multiple channels of trade, creating promotions to drive sales, and increase awareness for the Heineken portfolio. While at Heineken, Bruce initiated Heineken's sports property strategy , creating strategic partnerships with nine professional sports teams and arena's, and was responsible for developing a branded interactive area, known as the "Heineken Lounge", the center piece of Philips Arena in Atlanta.
Bruce is married to Kristine, an ICU nurse at Emory, has a 15 year old daughter, and is a graduate of Ohio University. |
